Here is my week 4 for the This is Our Life - Project 52. I am really so so glad that I am doing this project. Last year I did a Project 365 - one picture for every day for a year. And I had to pick the leap year so it was actually 366. And I finished it! By the end of the year I was ready for it to be over - so I thought. Then I started seeing other photographers beginning their New Year projects and I knew I needed something new and went hunting for a 52 week project. So glad that I found this one. Everyday 'This is Our Life' photos. I'm liking having a theme and having a week to execute that theme. It makes me think more, watch more and push my creativity.
My week 3 photo was featured onPaint the Moon's blog! You can check it out and see mine is #13. How cool is that? The blog post also announced this weeks theme which is 'A Different Perspective'. I tried a few things and wasn't loving any of the results. Yesterday I came up with the idea of me going outside and taking a picture of Madden inside, through the window. Kind of an outside looking in perspective. They were okay, but it wasn't the one. Today I took that idea through a different window, and Maddy was standing in between the kitchen curtain and window where she always likes to play anyways. As soon as she heard the door open and saw me go outside, she was there. I may or may not have kicked the snow up to see how that would work. :)
